About Sika Show
The Sika Show is New Zealand’s & Australasia’s largest Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show plus annual Hunting Competition that has been running for some 29 years, with this year being the 30th Anniversary of the Event!
Originating in Taupo in 1993 at the Spa Hotel it has since grown exponentially over the years and is now held at Mystery Creek in Hamilton to accomodate the large capacity it requires.
It is the passionate NZ hunters and outdoor lovers celebration of the year and a tribute to Sika and all of our precious big game species.
With around 10,000 attendee’s converging on the event annually it is the Hunting and Outdoors gathering you cant afford to miss!

With over 6000 hours of volunteer time annually from passionate hunters with a conservation based mindset going towards conservation projects, management hunting, 4,500kgs of hunter donated venison to date given to multiple food banks, hut and track maintenance throughout the Kaimanawa Forest Park and trap servicing in the Oamaru, Kaipo, Cascade and Hinemaiaia River catchments with 45km's of trap line currently in place to protect Whio - Blue Duck and their breeding habitat...
